ME1 really got me and it is stll one of my most favorte games. if you take everything together ME1 is the best part of the series. Thanks to ist awesome lead writer and the Bioeare team who put so much effort in the game, lore and story telling. And to be honest I only bought it cause Biwoare was written on it ...and today, the exact different thing happend: I see Bioware on something and my first thought is not buying it...

I bought ME1 about 2010 on a sale and didn't quite know what to expect. I started a new game, and was immediately primed to FemShep. The intro with the Normandy approaching the relay brought tears of joy to my eyes. It was just perfect. One of these rate moments of perfection in games. Bioware at their best. Not the graphics, they were just a necessary tool to transport emotion. To tell a story.

rofl thats an amazing coincidence. I just Instaled ME1 5 days ago and my first thought was. WOW what a shit combat. WOW really long and generic tutorial with normandy and relay beacon. Then i spent 3 hours running errands at the citadel. I have 6 hours of gameplay and my most memorable thing from ME1 was turning of the game after convincing general that looks like Psycho Mantis to stop spreading lies about a fucking whore...And all that happened in a club where aliens were shaking their tits at me....so meh

First time playing the series was last year. Great experience. Even when the game would slow down I enjoyed learning about alien culture and getting to know the crew. I remeber hating Garris and Mordin in the beging but they became my best bros. I liked how it didnt feel like I was playing as captain Shepard and it felt more like I actually was captain Shepard. Even though the last game only gave you 3 different endings, I felt like my journey getting there was different than other people's.
